A Montenegrin hero, Mićo Savić, from the
border town of Gacko. His dress is typical,
though he donned the antique breastplate for
our special delight. The pistol, too, which he
wore in his silah, is an old silver flintlock.
The black band in the Montenegrin cap is a
sign of mourning for the loss of Serbian
liberty on the field of Kosovo. This old hero
has a bloody history embracing several
border wars. Scripsit ABL.
